Is this not one of the most delicious bundt cakes you have ever seen?! And let me be the first to tell you that it is the EASIEST bundt cake you will ever bake! I take a bundt cake with me to every cooking party I attend. I even bake one of these lovely cakes for every new neighbor that moves into our neighborhood (and I live in a developing neighborhood....LOTS of bundt cakes). This bundt cake in the picture is actually one I gave to our newest neighbors (hint the box). Want to know my secret? DEMARLE of course!
Demarle products used:
-Fluted Bundt Mold (FM000486)
-Medium or Large Perforated Baking Sheet (MA435310 / MA500380)
-Magnetic Measuring Trio (GRP00001)
-Heat Resistant Spatula (TA000108)
Ingredients:
-1 box of your favorite cake mix (shhhh don't tell anyone I use a boxed cake mix...my favorite is yellow)
-and of course all the ingredients the box mix calls for
-1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
-1 cup of chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate or semi-sweet)
Follow all directions on your cake mix box. Put Your Demarle Fluted Bundt Mold on top of your Perforated Baking Sheet. Pour batter into your Demarle Fluted Bundt Mold (DO NOT SPRAY, OIL, OR FLOUR THE FLUTED BUNDT MOLD.....it does not need it)! Depending on your oven, you may have to play around with the time. You want to make sure your cake is COMPLETELY baked. One thing you should know about Demarle is that when you take it out of the oven, it stops cooking! No more having to take it out and let it sit to cook the rest of the way. Take it out, let the Fluted Bundt Mold cool so you can touch it(this shouldn't take much time), put a plate facing down on the top, and flip the cake over! And BAM! Your cake should come out perfectly clean from the Fluted Bundt Mold with no problem! Your Fluted Bundt Mold will be so clean, you won't be able to tell you just used it! (IF you have cake stick to your Fluted Bundt Mold, you did not bake your cake long enough). Set cake aside and now it's time to make your wonderful, tasty, and easy chocolate ganache. Take a small sauce pan, your Demarle measuring cups, and measure out 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream, and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Pour your heavy whipping cream into your small sauce pan and put on stove top until heaving whipping cream comes to a boil. Once it is boiling, take off heat immediately! Pour your chocolate chips into pan quickly, use your Demarle Heat Resistant Spatula and stir until creamy. Once creamy, pour ganache on top of your bundt cake and watch the ganache roll down beautifully!
You will have everyone tricked into thinking you spent a lot of time and effort making this "homemade" cake, when in reality, it took you no time at all ;)
-Good eating tonight and I'll catch ya Demarle
